1. Acknowledgement:
The idea of using a human glucose meter for a dog was found on a web page regarding canine diabetes. The site offered no detailed information however, so I tried asking Dr. Clifton at the Adobe Animal Hospital of Los Altos, California, for advice. She introduced me to Ramona, a resident of this area. Ramona is the owner of diabetic dogs, and is successfully managing their conditions with amazing energy and care. She kindly invited us over to her place to give us precise instructions on how to monitor our dog's condition. We were very lucky to have met her.
This page was created in order to propagate the information we received from Ramona to a wider audience via the internet. |
